Their route continues up a wall, a crack, and across a traverse on a narrow ledge. This is the first German mountain film, made by Sepp Allgeier. Allgeier was the cameraman of Arnold Fanck, Leni Riefenstahl and Luis Trenker, so due to its invaluable contribution to the genre, he can be considered as one of the fathers of the Bergfilm, the German mountain film."
