Helen, Fred und Ted: Psychotherapist Fred Czerny is finding it difficult to retire. So he shares his busy practice in Munich with Ted Fröhlich, an advocate of modern, holistic therapy methods. They are soon joined by Helen Cordes, who no longer wants to wear herself out in a psychiatric clinic. The three shrinks soon find themselves under psychological stress with patients and their own private lives.
